How Advicely Works
Advicely helps you resolve your business problems by allowing you to quickly and easily access expertise from Advicely’s community of advisors. This saves you time & money and helps you be successful.
What is a Business Problem in Advicely?
A “problem” is any business issue or question for which you need advice, expertise or some quick staff work relying on specific experience. Our problems are generally more expertise-intensive than simple web-searches, though not as complex and ill defined as to require multi-week/month or open ended consulting assignments.
You can tackle many types of needs with Advicely such as:
- Quick tips & templates (e.g., price checks, document templates, models, general best practices)
- Custom advice (e.g., how to deal with your particular business issue such as sales compensation, branding approach, etc.)
- In-depth analysis & research (e.g., detailed about your business needs such as market analysis, marketing strategies, etc.)
Advicely covers problems in all the key functional categories such as Administration, Finance & Accounting, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Organization & HR, Personal Finance, Sales, Startups & Small Business, and Strategy.
Here’s how you use Advicely as a Client:
1. Describe your need for advice (define topic, relevant details, proposed price, and deadline, etc)
2. Post for advice (your problem gets posted to the Advicely expert community)
3. Select and purchase a solution (review proposed solutions with detailed abstracts and previews, purchase the best solution and download it)
As a client, you have 3-day money-back guarantee! This gives you time to review the solution to ensure it matches your problem.
Here’s how you use Advicely as an Advisor:
1. Search for open problems that match your expertise
2. Review the problem details and, if needed, post any clarifying questions (or propose changes, e.g., solution price)
3. Create and upload the solution (as attachment(s)) and describe it to the client
4. If your solution is selected, you will be paid (funds are deposited to your account after the 3-day review period). If your solution is not selected, it will be added to Advicely’s Knowledge Base so that other users can preview and purchase your solution.
In addition to answering currently open problems, you can get paid for your existing content (e.g., templates, models, best practices, research/analysis reports) by uploading them to Advicely Knowledge Base where clients can find and buy them.
